Hi
I have a client who has expanded his RAID set, a RAID 0 i.e. striped set, with "live" data on successfully. He now wants to expand the filesystem to reflect the expanded space available (double) WITHOUT having to restore the data from the backup which he has, of course, made.
It is relatively easy, using gpt, to do this with a GUID filesystem
Make OS X see expanded space in RAID setup - Mac OS X Hints
but I don't know a way if the filesystem partition map scheme is Apple_HFS which is what he has.
Anyone know a way to do this either using existing utilities or commercially available s/w?
BTW he is running 10.5.8
Cheers
