this is a problem I've had before...Ive looked through the forum and can't seem to figure it out for myself.
I'm trying to connect to a linksys wireless connection. Ive tried adding a new location as suggested, but nothing seems to work.
under network diagnostics it says linksys requires a WEP password, but other mac users in my house can connect without a problem.
the firewall is off. I have no idea what a "managed switch" is.
I've tried renewing the DHCP lease as suggested. I've also set my network settings to configure IPv4: using DHCP automatically, as was also suggested.
I'm nowhere near an apple store, but this is something they have fixed for me before at the genius bar.
