Ahh wheres my url gone?!

hey guys i seriously dont know how i did this but i went to click on one of my bookmarks and i accidently got rid of the URL bar?! how did i do this and how do i get it back?

its the bit where you type the websites in and its just not there its just a grey bar

Lol. In Safari, click View > Customize Toolbar, and drag the Address Bar in its place.

You didn't say which browser you're using, but I know this is a common problem in Firefox. So, if you are using FF, then go to view/toolbars/customize and click the "Restore Default Set" button.

You hit cmd-| to make the address bar go away. Hit it again to bring it back.

It's command+shift+| for me?
It can also be shown/hid under the View Menu>"Show Toolbar"

That's why he didn't put "command"+"\". Have to use the shift key to use the "|".
