I just bought my Mac in late April and last night I noticed that the power cord light, which is usually green (because I usually keep it plugged in) is orange. It didn't get disconnected yesterday, so I don't know why it would be charging. I checked to make sure the plug was solidly connected at the outlet and at the white box and noticed that the white box was smokin' hot.

Any suggestions? Should I get a new power cord? Could it be a short?

Since you bought your Mac in April, you're eligible for AppleCare so I'd bring it in and have the experts check it out.
