I've seen the .css code on a few sites on how to remove the focus outer glow in search fields and so on. But how do I go about doing this? I know Firefox had a .css file in the application, but Safari must be different.

Any ideas of how I could do this?

If you have seen it on a few sites, surely one of them has a guide as to how to do it. My guess is via Terminal Window ...... Go back to the sites and look for a work through....

Cheers

I checked...

This site.

They say put this in your CSS code. But my question is where is that code at all?

What that website explains is how you can on a website that you are building remove the outer glow that text boxes display when active.
This will not apply to other websites that don't use that css code, on them it will still show the glow.

Put the following into a blank text document:
Code:
input
{
	outline: none;
}
Make sure to save it as plain text and with the ".css" extension. If you're using TextEdit, go to Format > Make Plain Text before saving.

Open up Safari and go to Safari > Preferences > Advanced. In the dropdown box for "Style sheet", select "Other...". Choose the style sheet you just created. Presto. Is that what you want?
