Weird looking burned pixels on my iphone (+pics)

Hi.

Im new around here , my name is Shahar and im from Israel.

I own an Iphone 3Gs bought on december 2009 from canada TELUS store.

Recently without any previous notice , my iPhone began displaying a very strange looking burned pixels.

The wierd thing is that it keeps getting bigger and bigger from day to day!


Take a look at the current status :









And its not a crack on the screen , the screen is flat like a blade.





Any idea what it might be?

Do you think the product warrenty covers this kind of thing?

the screen is going dead for sure. i hope this will be covered under warranty

Take it on in to an authorized Apple dealer or Apple store in Israel. That should be covered under the warranty. Note - with iPhones, Apple does not repair them per se, rather they will either give you a new one or one that has been refurbished. Since it's a 3Gs model, you'll likely get one that's refurbished.

The thing is that they say iPhone doesnt have international warrenty.
