Macbook Hard drive upgrade? "White Label"?

The "white label" refers to the fact the the drives sticker in white with a serial number only and no branding or mention of the manufacturer. typically they will use a sub-companies name in small print such as Sony for Panasonic white label drive.

Remember the original manufacture of the drive is not responsible for the drive it it fails, the re-branded company is.

Here is the drive I personally used for my last MacBook Pro HD upgrade. I ordered the Kit, so it came with an external enclosure to put the old drive in and the tools needed for the job.
