i just got a MAC Mini to see how it is , and so far i really really like it alot, its actually a little faster than i thought it would be , but i still will add some ram some time down the road, the specs are 1.42 ghz, 256 Mb Ram, 80 Gig HD, no superdrive, no airport card, no bluetooth and its running tiger, but i need to add a few good apps to it , i wish i would have got an airport card, cause i really wanna hook it up to my wireless network, but i got a good deal on it i only paid $456.00 after taxes, what good programs , or tips can some of you MAc vets give me ,ot tell me about.

256 is not as bad as i thought it would be running tiger, it is a little lag when i open like 10 things real fast, but i have 12 things running right now and it works pretty smooth, if i add like 512 it'll run good, and im sure a gig it'll rum real smooth, cause 256 is a lil low for ram these days, but may fave things are the expose, dashboard, and the dictionary along with safari

I ran with 256 just fine untill I started working with VirtualPC, Dreamweaver, and Adobe Photoshop.

Every Mac should come with 1GB of RAM just because.... Having such a kick *** machine and not spending the extra $100 for the ram is silly. Get it, actually, get more than you think you need. Stuff that mo fo.

I'm a bit lost on your post there... Are you talking about buying it from apple? If so then there would be $300.. But you could pick up ram from newegg or ebay for at least half that.
