What specific type of PowerPC G3 computer are you running? I am assuming either a CRT iMac or a PowerMac.

There are many model G3's. Is it a blue and white tower? Nothing from your PC will work period. Hardly worth spending hard earned cash on sadly a G3.

With due respect to answers provided already, if you have a Mac blue/white PPC G3 tower machine, there are a number of things you can add to it. Your PCI card may well work, also the USB expansion card.

A G3 tower can operate two IDE drives, plus one SCSI drive. It can accommodate a Zip drive.

The biggest limiting factor is the CPU speed but you can add to the motherboard and raise the CPU speed to 1 GHz, but it's expensive, and Harry's advice is relevant - is it worth it (to you)?

When it comes to Macs and Graphics cards, Cards for PC's will not work. They need (if the ROM is available) to be flashed to a Mac ROM and then it would work. So I would say no in most cases. The PCI USB card might work depending on the OS and drivers.

As far as other upgrades, since it's not even a Blue & White G3, anything major you can do would cost more than in some cases a new Mini and still be a very slow machine. I would not dump much $$$ into something that old.
