I have a fairly new Macbook pro (2.53 gHz Core i5). I've noticed that it seems to have a problem rendering images, most often in Safari, and most commonly in Gmail. I will click on an image or refresh my mail, or even just go to a web page, and instead of rendering the page or image, what appears looks like pixelated and unviewable. The entire display area (the Safari screen excluding address and bookmark bar) is undecipherable. I can fix the problem by going back or closing the image, but if I try to click on it again the same thing happens.

Anyone have a similar problem or know what I might be able to do to fix the problem?

Thanks.
