need help video too dark

Hi

All video kind i watch on my imac are too dark, QT movie, dvd player, every thing! but the brigthness is is max ok. but some times even in my game like world of warcraft is too dark. wat i must do? re instal os?

Answer: No. What you need to do is calibrate your monitor. System Preferences -> Displays -> Color -> Calibrate. Do the best job you can following the instructions, particularly when it comes to setting the Gamma (you should probably set yours to 1.8).
