I got bored and decided I was going to practice my editing skils and make a trailer for a movie I enjoyed... So I chose under seige and decided I was going to use hand brake so I can put the movie on my computer so I can edit it and fool around with some footage... (i got bored not being home and not having any cameras or footage to edit)... So I put the movie into handbrake and started ripping... It saved it as a mp4 but this will not work with final cut pro hd.. Is there an app that I can use to convert this to a file that I can use with final cut pro. Keeping the sound is important to me.

The shareware FFMpegX will covert almost anything you throw at it into anything else...
You just need to get to grips with the interface though - it's a bit complex.
