I have a Black Macbook 1.1 running 10.5.8
It has a dual core 2.0 ghz and 2 gigs of memory.
I'd like to upgrade those both. Would that be possible?
Also I would like to buy a full HD monitor, is my Macbook capable of running a 1080p monitor?
Thank you for you're replies!:D

Your machine is only capable of holding and using 2 GB of memory - that means 2 x 1 GB modules. You can upgrade the hard drive without difficulty and you should be able to use an external monitor although I'm not certain that it could be HD 1080P. Your MacBook if it's 1,1 model as you say is the first line of Intel MacBooks produced by Apple.

You cannot upgrade the processor. Like almost all laptops (Windows laptops as well)...the processor cannot be upgraded since it's soldered to the logic board.
