Password help?

Hi, I am running OSX 10.3 (panther) on my iBook G4 and accidently entered a password and saved it, now whenever i log on i have to enter the password, when i go to change it in system preferences (i want to change it so there is no password) it just says password too short, so i HAVE to have a password?!! any help please...

If you're talking about the admin password, then yes you have to have one. It is unbelievably foolish to try not having a password -- as you'll find out the first time you leave your machine unattended for a few minutes.

Exactly..... what's wrong with having a password anyway.
