Lately my trackpad has been doing some unexpected things- I rechecked the settings and see that nothing has changed, but after the last software update (maybe?)
Click and drag is only temporary- When I click and drag an icon, the mac forgets I'm still holding down the trackpad and drops the icon wherever it may be
Sometimes it thinks I'm double clicking when I'm not.
I'm wondering if it's even a hardware issue, or some bug in the software that slipped through.
