I have a Buffalo DriveStation™ HD-CXU2 and I have PC files on it along with my entire itunes library. How can I transfer all the files to my new mac without reformatting the device?

Your Mac should be able to read Windows NTSF file format so just plug in the external hard drive and copy files to your Mac.

I agree with EndlessMac. Macs read just about anything, certainly Windows. It's the other way round that there's a problem. Can't use Mac-formatted EHD to transfer to Windows without reformatting although there can be ways around this sometimes.
