Mail Macbook Pro Hotmail Inbox issues...

Before I decided to use mail program on my mbp, hotmail inbox showed all the messages I had. After I started using mail program, I only see 30-40 emails in my inbox. When I log into my hotmail inbox, I can't access my older emails because arrows (to get to next pages) are greyed out.

My other hotmail account works fine because I haven't linked them to mail program on my mbp.

Any help would be appreciated

anyone? it seems as if my inbox is only keeping messages up to a day old. Anything older is getting erased
