How do I attach .jpg's without the photo going into the body of the email message. I want it to go as an attachment and if thats possible I want to be able to reduce the size of the attachment like from 2mb to around 50kb.

For Mac Mail, click on the the small paper clip in the toolbar when you get ready to attach a file. (You must be in the new message dialog otherwise the attach option won't show up.) Attachments are not inserted in the body of the sent message.

JPG files can not be reduced any further as they are already compressed. If you wish to send JPG photo files that are smaller in size, you'll have to reduce the resolution you take the photos at. The higher the resolution, the larger the size.

Regards.

Actually, in Snow Leopard you CAN reduce the resolution of the sent photo right within Mail.

Never noticed that until you mentioned it. Thanks.
