Hi everyone, I need some help with automator.
I'm trying to rename my pictures sequentially, like this: IMG_001.jpg, IMG_002.jpg and so on. I can do that, too, but here is the problem. Say if I have a few files, named picture1, picture2, and picture3. Oftentimes, if I wanna rename them sequentially (as noted above), however, picture3 may become IMG_001.jpg, picture2 may become IMG_003.jpg, and so on...
I'd like to rename the files in order, though, as they appear in a finder folder, so that picture1 is renamed to IMG_001.jpg, and so on.
What am I doing wrong!? Do any of you get a similar problem? Please help!
