Hey y'all,
I'm the proud owner of a 17" Powerbook G4. Unfortunately it is quite literally falling apart and I need to pick up a new laptop.
I have a friend who just bought a brand new desktop and has a MacBook just laying around. We were talking about maybe selling it to me for a fair price, but then we realized that we don't actually know what a fair price would be.
Although I don't have the exact specs, I believe it's the first MacBook with an Intel processor (or whatever they're called), and is the smallest screen size (12 or 13"?). I seem to remember the hard drive being relatively small, perhaps around 80 GB.
It has some use, but is still in excellent condition. I'd buy a new one but I'm starting grad school and desperately need to conserve money. Any broad suggestions?
