'08 Mac Pro - Dual Screens with ATI 4870

2.2Ghz MacBook (4Gb RAM) + Dual 3.2 Xeon MacPro (16Gb RAM) + iPod Touch 32Gb
I have an '08 Mac Pro with an ATI Radeon 4870 display card inside. The card has 1x DVI and 1x MiniPort connector. To run 2x 24" monitors (1x Samsung T240, 1x Dell G2410H) would I just need a miniport to DVI adapter (Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter - Apple Store (U.K.)) for the second monitor?

I've seen miniport to Dual DVI, but presumed these were for very high resolution larger screens.

Help and advice appreciated. :D

Update:

I purchased a "Neet" Miniport to DVI cable from Amazon (link), plugged it in, and presto - dual 24" screens.
