Hello!
According to cpubenchmark.net , the 2,93 westmere is about 1000 points faster than the 3,33 westmere that sits in the hexacore Mac, does this mean the 12 core is faster even using a single core?

If one would use Photoshop 90% of the time and had an infinite amount of money, would a 12 core at 2,93 be the faster one at even single threaded applications? or in other words, if they both were FREE would the 3,33 hexacore be faster at photoshop or the 2,93 12 core one? I'm extra clear on the money part because I do not wish for the typical reply saying 12 cores is overkill for anyone and that it's a waste of money
Cheers
