help.. need photos and music from my ipod nano

my laptops harddrive was wiped, i need important photos which are on my ipod nano, pplease help me do this

Thanks for the link, but I'm scared it will try to sync and wipe everything, how do I know it won't do this? :/

I've just done some googling, those articles are old, apparently I need to set the disk use on my old computer, which I cannot do :/

I recommend Pod to Mac for this, it will do everything you want. It will recover EVERYTHING; songs, photos, movies, playlists, ratings, everything.

PS. Be aware that your photos will not be the same resolution they were on your computer; photos are "right-sized" for iPhone resolution to save space. Better than nothing, of course, but just something you should know.
