For some reason, i suddenly have no sound on my G4 Power Mac.

Hmm, not a lot of info to go on there. Sound through the internal speakers, are you using the audio output port to an external amplifier, stuff like that.
Meantime, check System Preferences > Sound to see if (somehow) the Mute box has been checked.
