Ejecting CD

How can I eject the CD drive without using the standard key? My keyboard key will not do it.

G'day and welcome to the forums.

Are you using a genuine Apple keyboard as you have not supplied model details or OS. You can go to System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/ and open Eject.menu, which should add an eject menu to the menu bar.

Provided you're in finder and you have your icons visible, you can also eject media by selecting it (single click on the icon) and then pressing Apple + E, or going to File > Eject under the finder menu.
