Free audio recorder for OS9?

simply put, i need a free recorder for OS9. im using a G3 wallstreet. i just need to record 1 second clips of our drummers individual drums, so i can turn it into a soundfont.

you wouldnt happen to know of any soundfont editors OTHER than polyphontic would you?
