easy iweb publisher problem

hi everyone. i'm very new to making my own web site and need some help. i bought a site and hosting thru ipower. i created my web page on iweb and published to a folder. then i downloaded easy iweb publisher and was able to upload my page... today i modified the site on iweb, published it to a new folder, and uploaded it with easy iweb publisher--except it's not working right. it didn't acutally update my site when i went to visit it. i opened filezilla and opened my site up to see what was on it and deleted all of it. then i re-uploaded the site with easy iweb publisher. now nothing is up--i just get the "under construction" screen when i visit my site. can anyone help me figure out what i can do to get the site back up?

are you putting the site into the public_html folder?
