Is there any way to use spaces on only 1 of 2 monitors?

I've got 2 monitors + spaces to organise different projects (I will have 2-5 open at once to be worked on at different times) and I find myself with 2-3 windows that I'm dragging around between spaces (mainly, my Time-tracker and a couple of safari windows).

So, is there any way to enable spaces on 1 of my monitors/desktops and keep the other with a constant background?

Hi Heeton,

Welcome to the forum! I have yet to find a method to do this... which is a shame, because I share your pain!

The best 'solution' I have found is to set certain programs to appear on all Spaces, this is done through System Preferences/Exposé & Spaces/Spaces and then adding programs to the Application Assignment.
