Hi all.
Noticed after a recent system update at times my mac will just hold down the trackpad forever and the only thing i can do to fix it is restart.

Also this only happens while using a web browser.

... So.. your Mac acts like you are perpetually holding down the trackpad button?

Is it only in Chrome or does it also happen while on the desktop with no apps running?

I had that happen to me once, and it turned out I needed to repair the disk. After repairing the disk with my install disc the problem went away, well, at least for me it did.

Fire up Disk Utility and run "Verify Disk" and see if your disk needs to be repaired. Maybe this will solve your problem as it did for me.
