I have an R4 card adapter and a MacBook. When I plug the adapter with the Micro SD into the Mac, it doesn't sense it and my adapter doesn't connect. Is there something wrong that I'm doing? ![:\](/mac_images/images/smilies/Undecided.png "Undecided :\")

Possibly a bad adapter. I recently had the same thing happen with an adapter I purchased from a discount on line seller. I wound up returning it and getting another which finally did work.
Also make sure the SD lines up correctly when placed in the adapter and that you're not using a low power USB port.
