Could you post a few of the sites that seem to make it quit? I would like to try it here on my Macs and my PC's and with different browsers and see what happens.

Happens to me quite often, which is why I now use FireFox 99% of the time. I do recall it happening alot when I was on eBay.

About once or twice a month I have safari unexpectedly quit on me, not really an issue though.

Same goes for Firefox btw...

Safari just quit on me as well at the same site while zooming in on street level. I took a quick look at the source code and it is Java. Any Java experts out there?

Edit: Camino does not crash at that site. So, this looks like a Safari/Java problem. Interesting that there was a Panther update to fix this exact issue, but was supposedly fixed in Tiger. Anyone know how to contact the Safari developers?

My main issue with safari is for web pages with forms to fill, most won't work correctly on Safari, but work fine on Netscape

Yeah, my Safari quits once in a while (about once every 2 weeks with average use.) Not sure why.

I just noticed that if you navigate to a problem website then click on Safari, then 'report bugs to Apple', it will let you directly submit bugs. Maybe more folks should do this. I just submitted a bug for http://maps.A9.com

Yes, It's happened to me before, too. Don't know what sites but the problem is real intermittent.

I was just browsing for about 5 minutes on the A9 map site with no problems. I do have one question though: Is the whole of America laid out in grids? I couldn't find anywhere that wasn't...

Pretty much, except in the northeast and places where terrain doesn't permit.
