VMware Fusion file error

I can't open my vmware fusion....can anyone help.

My vmware fusion comes up with this message.....Documents/Virtual Machines.localized/Windows XP Pro.vmwarevm/Windows XP Pro.vmx" is not a valid virtual machine configuration file

Your virtual machine file may be corrupt. Did you make a backup snapshot as offered by Fusion? If you did, restore from that. Otherwise you can use your Time Machine backup to restore from. If you have not made any backups either in Fusion or Time Machine, you may wind up having to create a new virtual machine for Windows XP. That means reinstalling.
