I have had this Macbook Pro for just under a year now. I wanted to clean up and reinstall everything. I put in the Snow Leopard disk and chose restart from disk or something like that. Now when I turn on the Macbook it just hangs at that startup screen with the apple and spinning wheel. This screen hangs for a couple minutes and then the machine just powers off. Someone please help me, this is really frustrating.

It would help if you told us exactly what it is you did when you inserted your Snow Leopard DVD and decided to "clean up" your MBP?

In any event, since your machine is less then a year old, it's still under warranty. You can always make an appointment with your local Apple store genius bar and take it on in for them to look at.

Regards.
