Transfer Pagemaker 4.2 Install Files from Floppy to CD?

I need to run Pagemaker 4.2 on my Macbook Pro running OSX10.6.4 with 2GB RAM.

I've got SheepShaver (OS9 emulation) running from an OS9 disc image. So far so good.

Problem: the PM4.2 installation files are on 6 floppies, and Sheepshaver does not recognise floppies.

I tried copying all the files onto a CD, but when I run the install utility from the CD I get so far and then the message "please insert disc 1". Of course at that point I'm stuck. PM4.2 is split into 2 parts on the install CDs.

Is there any way to get install files from the floppies to a CD in such a way that they will run properly without asking for floppy discs to be inserted?

Thanks for your help with this, anyone.

I am not sure. There used to be a piece of shareware that might have worked but I haven't seen it available for a while. Here is what occurred to me. I am not sure it will work but you've got nothing to loose.

Instead of copying all of the files to one CD try copying each floppy to a different CD. Make sure that each CD as the exact same name as the floppy that it corresponds to. Now try running the installer.

Thanks for the idea. I tried it - so near and yet...

Disc 1 installed but when it asked for Disc 2 I couldn't eject the Disc 1 CD. I tried ejecting it through the Disk utility but nothing worked. The only way I can seem to eject a disc in SheepShaver is to quit the installation then drag to the trash. Is there another way to eject the disc without interrupting the installation?

Haven't found an answer to this one yet. I don't have SheepShaver so that makes things a bit difficult. BTW I don't think this would work but I wonder if the installer would behave if all of the installation files were in the same folder. Not that I expect that to work (usually doesn't) but I am grasping at straws here.
