Powerbook g4 runs on ac but wont charge

Hello,

I have a 15in pb 1.67 high-res with some charging problems. The computer has a brand new battery that charged and worked fine. However it no longer will charge.

Here is some more info


- Runs off of ac power
- Runs without the battery in the machine with ac power
- Runs off of a charged battery
- System profiler detects the charger but says its not charging
- The ac power port can be easily wobbled in all directions

I tried all the different resets with no success.

I thought it was the dc-in board but the fact that it still runs off ac power confuses me. What do you think?
