howdy,

Just switched to an iMac from a PC and really miss the ability to hit "num lock" and turn the number pad into a navigational tool.

It looks like it's there, but can't figure out how to make it do what a PC keyboard does ... and, as a writer, keeping my fingers on the keyboard (and not mousing around) is the way to go.

On a PC the number pad becomes four-way arrows, page up, page down, delete, etc. i know those functions are to the left in the middle, but old habits ...

Anybody?

Sorry, what you see is what you got. The full size Apple aluminum keyboard is laid out differently than a typical full sized keyboard for a PC. I actually like the page up, page down, and navigation keys where they are better than my PC keyboard layout. You'll get used to it.

Regards.
