hard-drive issue

Okay this is a tricky one, I just got an ipod touch today so I downloaded some apps sync it to my mac put all my music on, and later on I notice my hard drive has gone from having around 130GB to a mere 40GB available. I have downloaded vidora and this thing called Itranspod to get films onto it, but nothing THAT big, has anyone have any tips of how to look at recently added files ect how large they are or how this could have even happened because im at a total loss.
