I apologize if this has been asked/answer before, but I was looking into buying Parallels for my MacBookPro. I have the Microsoft Office on my mac and I was wondering if I would still be able to use Office when running Windows with Parallels. Does it still let you use the mac software on windows, or would I have to get the windows version of Office in order for it to work?

Thanks

Parallels allows you to run Windows in a virtual machine. Therefore you will need to have a Windows version of Office if you wish to use it from Windows.
Mac Office does not work in Windows and vice versa for Windows Office.

Since you can run Windows in Parallels without ever leaving OS X, why in the world would you need to have Office running in Windows also? Simply create your documents using Mac Office and drag them into the Windows VM.

Regards.
