I have a set of placemarks files (myplaces.kml) saved from a Windows version of GE. I want to use them on my Mac but I cannot find where this file is located on the Mac or cannot find them in the GE package contents (ctrl-click on GE app icon). Do they have a different name? And I do not see export\import to do this. Anyone know how to transfer myplaces from Win GE to Mac GE????

Never mind, I searched a little harder and found my answer.

In Windows XP...
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Google\GoogleEarth\myplaces.kml

Copied the file to here on the Mac...
"Macintosh HD" > username > "Library" > "Application Support" > "Google Earth" > myplaces.kml

Worked great.
