iphone desperate help

I am a teacher with a iphone I want to use it to show students work on my laptop. I want to be able to hover my iphone over a page and for the image to wirelessly transmit to my laptop screen. I thought maybe some kind of webcam but any help will put me in your debt

I'm no computer genius, but this is simple. To show your student's work, take a picture of the work on your iPhone, email the picture to yourself, and open the email containing the picture on your laptop. Hope that helps.

Wouldn't it be easier to just get a cheap webcam for the laptop?

Yeh, but you'll need some kind if freeze frame function won't you?
