Hey guys!
I'm currently facing some serious problem.
A month ago, my iphone suddenly turned black and stopped moving at all.
I tried all stuff i can do to iPhone (like restart or recharging) but never worked.
Then few days later, it came back to life with no battery left.
Weird that when it got turned off, it had full battery.
Anyways, so i kept on using it, then few days later, same thing happened.
And then it came back to life again after another few days.
Now, i got it once more, and I sorta need it immediately.
So I plugged it into itunes and tried to restore, then following message popped out:

iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. an unknown error occured (1600)

yep i searched online and tried everything i find, like deleting ispw file and redownloading it or deleting devicelink.framework and moviledevice.framework or just restrart my mac.
So, now im here, completely lost, and i need my phone now cuz of my business stuff...
oh and i forgot to mention...

MY IPHONE IS NOT FRIKKIN JAILBROKEN!!!

... so yep, will b great if any of u can help me out
thanks =]

Why don't you take it to an Apple Store and have them check it out if you need it so urgently?

well i live in japan, and whats weird bout japanese iphone system is that as soon as they see that iphone is broken, i have to trade the old iphone for a new one instead of fixing it, and this cost me 400~700 bucks
so if theres any chance of fixing it myself, then id rather do it that way

You say that your iPhone is not Jailbroken? Was it JailBroken once?
Because all references that I can find to the error 1600 relates to Jailbroken devices.

Try putting it into DFU mode if you haven't already

never jailbroken before... not even once
i checked DFU one, but apparently my iphone is in DFU mode all the time
so that means as soon as i plug in the iphone it asks for restore
but i still tried it, ended up as nothin...

If it's stuck in DFU mode and it still won't restore, Then my best guess is that you need a replacement the Apple Store doesn't repair iPhones for the most part they just swap them out.
