Track pad not working on Macbook Pro

Both my keyboard and trackpad have sporadically stopped working.
If i restart it works for awhile then it quits again.

Any suggestions of how to fix it? Anybody else have this problem?

Have you opened it up to add RAM or a new HD prior to this problem? Maybe a ribbon cable is disconnected.

Ok folks, this is the problem that i am having. First no matter what browser i am using (Firefox,Safari) after browsing awhile my trackpad stops clicking. i am able to move it and all except clicking. however, if i move the arrow out of the window and then return, i am able to click down. it does generally happen everywhere, so whats happening?
