I have a jailbroken iPhone 3GS with iOS 4.0.1. Yesterday I disabled the built-in service for multitasking and I am currently using "Backgrounder" instead. Multiflow, Kirikae or Proswitcher don't work yet, so I'm managing with just Backgrounder. It works great and the battery life is way better than before.

My only "problem" with this solution is that it's not just Apple's multitasking that is gone. The whole menu that normally appears when double-clicking the home button is gone, so I can't use the rotation-lock anymore.

Does anyone know about a workaround to get it (or something similar) working again? I am open to any suggestions (except enabling multitasking again) and I hope you understand my scandinavian-english :)
