It's pretty hard to accurately answer your question...because:

- you haven't given us the specifications of each computer
- you haven't told us what OS is currently on each computer
- you haven't told us what OS install disks you have
- you haven't told us what color these install disks are (can be important)

Don't demand that only someone answer that "actually knows"...if you can't formulate the correct question & provide the appropriate details to answer the question!

Hey,
Unfortunately, if its the gray colored disks, thats came with you MacBook Pro (not bro :)) then it will not work with the powerbook.

If your purchased OS X disk separately, like the black one with the big X on it (Leopard Disk) or the white one with the snow leopard on it for (Snow Leopard) THEN you can use it on the powerbook

Won't be able to use Snow Leopard on the powerbook no matter what color the disk is. SL is Intel only.:D

Oops!
Even Leopard might not run well on the G4. How much RAM, what processor speed?
