MacBook Pro Retina 15" 2.6GHz Intel Core i7, 8GB DDR3L RAM, 512GB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M
Hey Everyone;

I'm going to be getting a new office computer and I've been holding out for the new Mac Pro which happened to go on sale today. I'm stuck though, should I go for 2x 2.4 GHz Quad-core (8 cores @ 2.4 each) or for the 1x 3.2 GHz Quad core (4 cores @ 3.2 each).

Lets work this out....
8 cores x 2.4 Ghz = 19.2 GHz total processing speed over full multithreading
4 cores x 3.2 Ghz = 12.8 GHz total processing speed over full multithreading
It's quite easy.
