Microsoft Office 2008 product key

I have searched and scanned my entire house for my 25 character product key for office 2008 and I simply can't find it. I can't find the installation cd either. The key is supposed to come on the cd sleeve but it is no where to be found. Is there anywhere else I can find the code besides using torrent files?

I'm told there are extractor programs you can download to find the key…true?

The product key extractors do not work for the Mac Office version. They only work for the Windows version.

What version of Office 2008 did you buy? The Home and Student version comes with three product keys. The keys are located on the disk sleeve as you pointed out.

If you lost the install CD and the product key(s) you're out of luck. If you had one or the other, you might get relief from MS but without either no one is going to give you a key for free.

Download the free Open Office 3.X and use it instead.

I have Microsoft Office 2008 Student version, but mine only has one key. I'm going to replace the hard drive in my Mac so I was just going to use another key since it comes with three - but there's only one key on the sleeve. Where do I find the other two?

Just re-use that single key. Only one key comes with the full business version and have re-installed each time updated computer....three times now.
