I'm a relatively new vlogger looking to do more with my videos than what iMovie offers. Does anyone know of any other software that offers some of the features of Final Cut, but with a cheaper price? (I'm looking for greenscreen/bluescreen, better titles, etc...) From what I've heard people suggest Sony Vegas... I just wanted to get some other suggestions/opinions on software.

Thanks.

Final Cut Express is $199.

Do you really think you're going to find something better than iMovie for less than that?

It sounds like Final Cut express is exactly what you're looking for, green screen is very easy and thanks to livetype (included) you can make some really cool title animations.

Just FIY, I don't think there is a Mac version of Vegas.

For $200 Final Cut Express is the little brother of Final Cut Pro. Essentially missing the very high end pro features and extra applications.

For the tight budget, check out Norrkross Movie.

By the way, iMovie 09 does green screen.
