What caused this

i was just LOOKING at the bit torrent website when all of a sudden a pop up came up, and it started downloading bit torrent. It added the icon to my computer background and in the download folder. Why the **** did it do this, and should i be worried?

Just a suggestion... but... If you are using Safari, in Preferences>General have you made sure the "Open Safe files after downloading" box is unchecked.

but i didnt even tell the computer to download anything,but it did anyway
