Up until now I use the Time Capsule as my backup drive.
It works o.k.
But is very slow .
So I am thinking about buying fire wire drive .
Is it a good choice , considering that is more expensive than USB drive .
O Yes my retailer recommended my Fire wire .
Put I cannot make my mind .

I already have the maximum drive in my box
Any advise is most welcome

Thanks in advance

Yes follow the retailer's advice and purchase a Firewire 800 external case and pop the drive into that, format the hard drive Mac OS Extended (Journalled) when connected with Disk Utility and partition even if one single partition, selecting GUID from Options under Partitioning.
