Grey Spots on my MacbookPro Screen :(

Dear All

I turned on my Macbook Pro 17 inch this morning like usual and I noticed the grey patch on the screen! Please see attached image for better understanding!
Please let me know if anyone have same issue or anyone knows something about it!

Is it on the screen or is it the computer producing the bad images? What spec is your MBP?

I don't know from where it is coming because when the screen is off you cannot see anything coz of the dark colour of the whole screen! when turned on it shows right away.

SPECS:
MacBook Pro 17inch
2.5 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM

If the gray spots are not showing up when you take a screenshot, that means your graphics processor is OK. The gray spots are likely within the display itself. Bad pixels perhaps.

You can confirm the above by attaching an external monitor to your MBP. If the machine is still covered by Apple's warranty or Apple care, it's probably best to take it on in and let Apple trouble shoot it.
